• Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice.
• GMC Specialist Register or within six months.
• Good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to the team.
• Work with a small caseload of approximately 30 outpatients.
• Offer community forensic expertise and support to services preparing for discharge.

Skills

Excellent clinical skills in interviewing and psychiatric risk assessment

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to lead a team

Commitment to shared leadership and collaborative working

Education

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

CCT in Forensic Psychiatry

Qualification or higher degree in medical education
