A healthcare provider in Wales is seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to join their dermatology services. The successful candidate will provide leadership within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and participating in medical education. This role involves working across multiple hospitals in the region, contributing to service development and patient care. The successful candidate will be based at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant, and will spend time at Prince Charles Hospital and Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda. They will complement the existing dermatology service across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board and be expected to provide on average 7 clinical sessions per week. The dermatology consultants rotate between outpatients, ward work and subspecialty sessions, allowing protected time for audit, research and teaching and facilitating the development of the dermatology service. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to service mapping and to service redesign within the new Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
