Overview

Our company is a fast-growing real estate investment firm focusing on the acquisition and development of Self Storage and Industrial Parks in select markets. Role and Travel

The position is comprised of a mix of office and field work. Travel is required, primarily throughout central and south New Hampshire. This may change as we continue to grow. Projects include ground up self-storage developments, ground up industrial developments, expansion, and renovation of existing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently and supervise projects from start to finish.
• Meeting with town/municipal inspectors, pulling permits and attending planning and zoning meetings.
• Responsible for finalizing details for job completion/invoicing, closing out projects, obtaining Certificate of Occupancy, etc.
• Monitoring of subcontractors for projects within the current portfolio.
• Work with the Construction Manager and Sr. Superintendent on cost estimating, construction process, and overall budget stewardship.
• Review and inspect work (field visits) to assure quality workmanship and adherence to plans, shop drawings, etc.
• Occasional overnight travel will be necessary.

Key Attributes/Skills

• Minimum 2 years or more of experience as a superintendent on self-storage, industrial and/or related commercial projects.
• An organized problem solver with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates leadership in managing/leading multiple subcontractors and projects at once.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Procore and SharePoint.
• High School diploma or GED.
