Construction Associate | 1-8 PQE | Strong firm | Nottingham

The Role
This growing construction team is known for its involvement in complex, high-value projects across both public and private sectors, including energy, infrastructure, healthcare, and development. The team handles a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, and this role can be tailored depending on your experience and interests.

You'll work closely with experienced Partners and Legal Directors on a broad range of construction issues including:
· Drafting and negotiating construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, etc.)
· Development agreements, consultant appointments, collateral warranties
· Advising on live project issues and dispute avoidance
· Supporting adjudication, arbitration, and litigation where necessary

The Ideal Candidate
· 1-8 years' PQE with construction law experience (either contentious, non-contentious or mixed)
· Solid grounding at a well-regarded regional, national or international firm
· Excellent technical and drafting skills, with a commercial approach
· Strong client-facing and communication skills
