Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Coordinator for a six-month, on-site assignment in Chesterfield, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing safety programs and protocols to protect our employees and subcontractors. You’ll ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, provide training, and build a strong culture of safety across the construction site.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs and site protocols in compliance with OSHA and industry standards.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and orientation to employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to promote safety accountability.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incidents.
• Stay up to date on regulatory changes, industry standards, and safety best practices.

Requirements

• OSHA 30 certification or higher required.
• Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or in a similar construction safety role.
