You’ll support the Responsible Business Manager (RBM) in overseeing contract delivery teams to achieve business results in safety, cost, time, quality, and customer satisfaction. Your role will require constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure efficient operations, while maintaining the highest standards in Environmental Protection, Sustainability, Health & Wellbeing, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

- Commercial Acumen: Your experience with purchasing procedures, negotiating skills, and knowledge of commercial and contractual issues will be vital. You’ll possess excellent financial acumen to manage budgets and drive cost efficiencies.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A strong understanding of current Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations, Environmental Regulations, and Risk/Opportunity Management processes is necessary to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Technical Proficiency: You’ll be fully conversant in current Transmission & Distribution standards and technologies, with extensive knowledge of HV Substations (Civil, Primary & Secondary Systems).
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in negotiation, will be essential for building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and managing stakeholder expectations.

- Achieving Business Results: You’ll ensure that business area contracts deliver or exceed budget gross margins, overheads, and EBIT. By advising on variation and claims strategy, you’ll support negotiations and assist project teams in managing commercial risks.
- Driving Performance Improvements: Setting KPIs to monitor and achieve continuous project delivery performance improvements will be a key focus. You’ll actively pursue strategicfold and operational objectives, identifying and networks claims early on.
- Resource and Staff Management: You’ll manage business resource planning for operational staff, developing recruitment plans to meet contract delivery requirements. Assessing and developing staff capabilities will richtigen for succession planning and raising project management skills.
