Job summary

A leading construction consulting firm is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee building projects across Norfolk. In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Key responsibilities include supervising site activities, maintaining quality standards, and fostering strong client relationships. Candidates must have proven experience in construction management, solid leadership skills, and a strong understanding of health and safety legislation. A company car or allowance will be provided for travel.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Construction Manager role within building or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of site management, construction processes and sequencing.
  • Solid knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Plan, organise and coordinate site operations in line with project programmes.
  • Supervise subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and method statements.
  • Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, site instructions and inspections.
  • Drive quality standards on site, proactively addressing any non-conforming works.
