Qualifications

  • Experience delivering EHV/HV construction schemes at 132/66kV.
  • Civils or electrical bias with multi-discipline experience.
  • SMSTS and appropriate CSCS/ECS card required.
  • CDM 2015 competency necessary.
  • IOSH and Streetworks NRSWA desirable.

Construction Manager

Location: London / South East (travel to London sites required)

Key Deliverables
  • Plan and oversee safe delivery of construction works in line with Freedom and client standards.
  • Manage project construction programme and report progress.
  • Implement quality management processes on site (ITPs, documentation, inspections).
  • Interpret engineering drawings and resolve queries with project teams.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager, Engineering, and Commercial teams to manage risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and maintain a strong health and safety culture.
  • Motivate and manage Freedom and supply chain teams to deliver high-quality work.
  • Resource planning and coordination for internal and external teams.
  • Prepare and check key safety documentation (CPP, RAMS, permits).
Requirements
  • Experience delivering EHV/HV construction schemes at 132/66kV (ICP, Private Networks, or DNO preferred).
  • Civils or electrical bias with multi-discipline experience.
  • SMSTS and appropriate CSCS/ECS card.
  • CDM 2015 competency.
  • IOSH and Streetworks NRSWA (desirable).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
