About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Buyer to take ownership of the procurement process across multiple projects, ensuring materials, services, and suppliers are managed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation
  • Work closely with project managers and site teams to understand material requirements, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery
  • Manage stock levels, lead times, and logistics to ensure efficient project progression
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, and supply chain improvements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and industry regulations
