Configuration Engineer

Location : Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Rate : £14.25 per hour (PAYE)

Contract : 3-Month Rolling

Hours : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM or other shifts available

About the Role

We're looking for a Configuration Engineer to join our growing Configuration Department. In this role, you'll deliver accurate and efficient IT configuration services, working on a variety of systems and projects. Full training will be provided for bespoke in-house systems.

What You'll Do

• Install and configure software within existing IT infrastructures
• Build and configure systems following detailed scripts
• Perform manual data input (25–50% of the role) using spreadsheets
• Consolidate consignments for distribution
• Box / unbox IT equipment and support pallet movement
• Communicate progress and delays proactively
• Work to meet SLA targets and productivity goals
