A local governmental council in Bradford seeks a Condition Surveyor to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation. The role includes conducting various condition surveys, preparing detailed reports, and providing condition information for corporate buildings. The Condition management team forms part of the larger Asset & Facilities Management team working within Built Environment at the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council. The primary focus of the Condition Surveying management team is to ensure the authority maintains compliance in all our portfolio with relevant health and safety legislation and accurately monitor and manage identified works within our corporate portfolio of properties.
We are looking for a Condition surveyor to join our dedicated team in Asset & Facilities Management, Corporate Resources. The role will have responsibility to provide the condition information across our varied portfolio of corporate buildings. Candidates must be organised, have an eye for detail, enthusiastic, possess strong written and verbal communicator skills with a minimum experience of three years within the Construction industry. The ability to work well independently but have a strong team player attitude is essential for this role. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.
Our management team is seeking candidates with a proven track record within the field of Surveying and or project management. Candidates must be enthusiastic, good communicators and experienced in undertaking building condition surveys across a variety of assets.
