Overview

Role: Computer Science Teacher (Fixed Term, full-time) – February 2026 start until August 2026, with potential for permanent appointment. Location: Harrow, North West London. Salary: £36,745 – £53,994 per year, with benefits and CPD. Employer: Reeson Education. Closing date: 24 Feb 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons that challenge students across key stages.
  • Provide students with a solid understanding of coding, algorithms, and computational thinking.
  • Support students to achieve academic success while developing real-world skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the Computer Science curriculum is broad, balanced, and reflects current technology.
  • Offer guidance to students to help them reach their potential, regardless of starting point.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Recognised Teaching Qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Passion for Computer Science and enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Ability to create an inclusive, ambitious learning environment.
  • Commitment to high aspirations for all students and to helping them succeed academically and personally.
  • Ability to inspire students to aim high; experience teaching Computer Science at KS5 is desirable but not required.
