Risk & Compliance Officer
Salary: £16.98 ph
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in Barrhead office)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Overview

Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for ensuring high standards of compliance and risk management? Our client, a respected organisation in the public sector, is seeking a Risk & Compliance Officer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

As a Risk & Compliance Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the organisation by ensuring adherence to internal procedures and external regulations. You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, working in a hybrid environment with 2–3 days based in their Barrhead office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a range of risk and compliance monitoring activities in line with the compliance planner
  • Maintain and manage regular compliance reporting
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate potential fraud and error risks
  • Perform analytical reviews across business activities and deliver accurate, timely reports
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and organisational policies
  • Maintain compliance with mandatory training requirements
  • Uphold data protection, information security, and health & safety standards
  • Complete audit actions within required timelines

  • Previous experience in a risk, audit, or compliance-related role
