Compliance Manager – 14 Month FTC – Remote UK

Davies is partnering with a leading Research and Consultancy firm who are looking for Compliance Manager to join them on a 14 month FTC. This is a pivotal role where you’ll ensure the organisation meets regulatory requirements and industry standards, while shaping a strong culture of compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement compliance programs with a strong focus on Data Protection.
  • Collaborate with IT security consultants, the Data Protection Officer, and external service providers to manage audits, due diligence requests, and certifications (ISO, Cyber Essentials).
  • Act as the internal expert on data management, advising on personal data processes including informed consent.
  • Document and streamline business processes, creating clear roadmaps for compliance.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance organisational efficiency.
  • Ensure staff adhere to data protection and information security requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits, track risks, and oversee remediation.
  • Lead compliance training initiatives across the team.
  • Manage supplier onboarding, due diligence, and annual compliance checks.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly compliance reviews.
  • Maintain and update company policies and procedures.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring the organisation adapts to evolving regulations.
About You
  • Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR(UK & EU)
  • Experience supporting or leading ISO27001 accreditation in small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Proven ability to design and manage compliance programs.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Commercially aware with strong business acumen.
  • Confident IT user, proficient in MS Office and other platforms.
  • Methodical, logical, and process-driven in approach.
