We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our global compliance programme. This mid-level role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in UK regulatory compliance, excellent communication skills, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales and external partners. The successful candidate will also bring a solid understanding of compliance technology tools and systems. This is a hybrid opportunity working 2 days a week from our London or Cambridge office.
Responsibilities
- Compliance Operations
- Drafting, implementing, and maintaining global compliance policies and procedures
- Monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring timely updates to internal controls
- Conducting internal audits and compliance reviews to identify and mitigate risks
- Investigating and resolving compliance violations and partner noncompliance issues
- Assisting in drafting and preparing internal investigation reports
- Conducting third-party due diligence and risk assessments
- Supporting the monitoring of the Anti-Bribery and Gifts & Hospitality programme
- Overseeing daily operations of the global compliance programme
- Working with Stakeholders
- Acting as a point of contact for the Global Go-to-Market team and Global Partner Organisation (GPO) on compliance matters
- Providing guidance and training to internal teams
- Liaising with external regulators, auditors, and partners as needed
- Using Technology & Systems
- Using compliance technology platforms for monitoring, reporting, and documentation
- Maintaining and updating compliance databases and registers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field, with solid experience in a compliance role—ideally within a regulated industry
- Strong understanding of the UK Bribery Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and Failure to Prevent Fraud legislation
- Hands-on experience with compliance technology tools and systems
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a collaborative approach
- Experience in the software or SaaS industry is highly beneficial
- Familiarity with investigation protocols and reporting standards
- Fluent in Spanish, French, or German is advantageous
