A healthcare organization in Shaldon is seeking a Compliance & Governance Manager to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Responsibilities include managing compliance policies, conducting audits, and overseeing the complaints process. Candidates with managerial experience are encouraged to apply, even without Primary Care experience. This role is key for maintaining high standards of clinical governance.

The Compliance & Governance Manager role is key to making sure that the Practice stays compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements, including CQC standards and clinical governance frameworks. The successful candidate will ideally have Primary Care experience, but this is not essential if they have managerial experience and meet the person specification. The role includes working in partnership with the Practice CQC Manager / GP Partner, Practice Manager and wider Management Team to proactively manage policies, audits and risk assessments to maintain high standards of compliance. The postholder will also lead the formal complaints process, co-ordinating investigations, writing responses and contributing to service improvement.
