Job summary

A leading housing organization in Stockport is seeking a Compliance Co-ordinator to assist in the management of fire safety contracts across its property portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance and safety. Required qualifications include experience with fire safety contractors, an understanding of UK fire safety legislation, and strong analytical skills. This full-time position offers a permanent contract and invites candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of working with Fire Safety Contractors resolving Fire Safety Actions.
  • Experience of interpreting FRA reports and actions.
  • A good understanding of contract management.
  • Excellent attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A good understanding of current UK fire safety legislation.
  • Experience of using various platforms to update, maintain and present data in a meaningful way.

We’re currently recruiting a Compliance Co‑ordinator to support our Compliance Officer and Compliance Manager with the delivery of all fire safety contracts across the Stockport Homes Group property portfolio.

A key part of this position is the ability to work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external partners to track, monitor and resolve all fire safety actions.

The role contributes to ensuring statutory compliance resident and colleague safety and quality assurance across all fire safety related activity.

Our ideal candidate will have
  • Proven experience of working with Fire Safety Contractors resolving Fire Safety Actions.
  • Experience of interpreting FRA reports and actions.
  • A good understanding of contract management.
  • Excellent attention to detail with good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • A good understanding of current UK fire safety legislation.
