Job summary

A health and social care provider in New Deer is looking for Complex Care Practitioners to join their dedicated team. In this role, you'll support adults with complex care needs, particularly those on the Autism spectrum. The position offers flexible opportunities, from full-time to part-time. Qualifications

  • Experience in Health & Social Care sector with complex care needs.
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviors.
  • Willingness to complete required training and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide complex care and support to individuals on the Autism spectrum.
  • Develop and implement robust support plans with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Encourage and facilitate individuals' independence and social activities.

Skills

Previous experience of providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities and/or of working in a forensic service
Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening and written)
Ability to deal with behaviours that can challenge
Caring and professional attitude
Confidence in the use of computers

Education

Commitment to studying for and achieving an SVQ (SCQF level 7)
