The Complex Care Assistant role involves delivering personal care and mobility assistance, supporting with epilepsy & seizure management, including rescue medication, assisting with bowel management and medication administration, and promoting comfort, safety, and positive engagement throughout the night. The successful candidate will have previous experience in complex care, epilepsy & seizure management, rescue medication administration, medication management, and managing challenging behaviours, as well as a calm, professional, and emotionally intuitive approach.
