As one of the local leading providers of palliative and end of life care, St Andrew’s Hospice is a highly successful and forward-thinking charity offering both adult and children’s services. We reach over 800 patients and their families in Northeast Lincolnshire and our wider catchment area of Lincolnshire, Hull and East Yorkshire for our children’s services and are growing our services to meet the expected increase in need.

Complementary therapies play a powerful role in helping our patients with symptom control and providing emotional benefits, as we aim to make their lives a little easier at the most challenging time.

As part of our Support and Wellbeing team, you will work closely with patients across adult and children’s inpatient and outpatient services, as well as their caregivers. You will also support staff and volunteers by providing person‑centred therapeutic interventions.

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate therapist who can help us deliver a high‑quality complementary therapy service.

You will need to have:
  • Diploma in one or more complementary therapies (massage, reiki, aromatherapy…) as a minimum
  • Post registration experience as a therapist (experience in a health care setting is highly desirable)
  • Membership/Registration with a recognised professional association.
