Overview

In this position you will be caring for elderly residents, some of whom do have Alzheimer’s, so experience within this environment would be desirable. You will be assisting with all personal hygiene of the residents such as toileting, bathing and dressing. You may be asked to assist with some domestic duties, but this will be outlined by the home manager.

Requirements

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up to date certificates, online training can be offered with an added fee
• Have an in-date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one for you

As a night worker you will be working Monday to Friday; all shifts will be starting at 20:00 and finishing at 08:00.

This position pays £12.75 per hour, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
