A leading healthcare provider in Ross-on-Wye is seeking a dedicated Community Staff Nurse to join their District Nursing Team. The role involves providing care and support to patients in their own homes, emphasizing independence and holistic assessments. Responsibilities include wound care, palliative support, and managing long-term conditions. To succeed, you must have community experience and RN1 qualifications, registered with NMC, alongside strong skills in health and safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team. A flexible approach to meet travel needs is essential.

The Ross-On-wye District Nursing Team are a very supportive and dedicated team, we are an incredibly engaging, positive and hard‑working team, providing care and support to patients in their own homes.
We work closely with Golden Valley DN Team and often work as a locality where needed.
We work closely with a wide range of multi‑disciplinary teams, including GP's, Palliative Care Nurses, Therapy Teams, and Advanced Clinical Practitioners. Ross DN Team also provide a wound clinic service based at the Community Hospital.
Our aim is to provide treatment and support to patients in their own homes. Whilst undertaking a holistic nursing assessment, we aim to encourage patients to remain as independent as possible, in order to prevent hospital admissions. Due to the nature of this role, lone working and the ability to meet the travel requirements of the post are essential. Main duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
