A community-focused educational institution in Westerham is looking for a dedicated Community Shop Assistant Manager. The role, which is part-time (22.5 hours per week), involves overseeing the daily operations of a vibrant community shop and motivating a team of volunteers. Ideal candidates will have a background in retail, especially customer service, and a passion for engaging with the local community. PERMANENT PART-TIME, ALL YEAR ROUND
22.5 hours per week : 8.30am to 4.30pm : working alternate weekends
£12.21 per hour : £14,326 actual gross p.a. : 7.2 weeks holiday

Valence School has a vibrant community shop in the heart of Westerham, and we are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to help drive its success.
Working alongside the Shop Manager, you will help run the day-to-day operations, motivate a wonderful team of volunteers, maintain high standards and bring creativity to displays, stock rotation and shop presentation. You will also help provide brilliant work experience opportunities for Valence School students.
Must be 18+ due to lone-working requirements.
