Overview

JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Community Rehab Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in County Durham.

The pay for this position is £20-£23 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Responsibilities

• Band 6 or above Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with experience in community work, rehabilitation/reablement.
• Treatment planning and discharging from Intermediate Care Beds
• Must be HCPC registered.
• Provision of equipment (manual handling experience essential)
• Supervision of junior staff.
• Car driver essential- required to carry items of equipment in car.
• Knowledge of common conditions such as arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, dementia, MSK, COPD and falls.

Requirements

• Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
