Job summary

A national health charity is seeking volunteers to extend their outreach and raise awareness about dementia. You will engage with communities, participate in events, and link people to support services. Ideal candidates have excellent communication skills and a friendly approach, as well as a good understanding of their local community. This role requires a commitment to inclusivity and offers flexible hours between 1 to 10 hours per month.

Qualifications

• Over the age of 18.
• Commitment to inclusivity and treating individuals with dignity.
• Experience in raising awareness in diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen community links to raise awareness about dementia.
• Engage with people affected by dementia to share their stories.
• Signpost people to access Alzheimer’s Society services.
