In order to deliver the strategy An opportunity has become available for a District Nursing Team Manager to co-lead a District Nursing Team in North West Team, Newport.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will ensure the provision of cost effective, efficient and appropriate high quality patient care. They will carry the continuing responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs and quality assurance. The community nurse team leader will line manage a nursing team ensuring the professional and clinical development of team members. They will promote evidenced based practice and act as an accountable role model. They will ensure that together with their team members they act in accordance with the NMC Professional Code of Conduct and other relevant policies.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
