Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with full UK driving licence.
  • Competent in venepuncture, IV administration, and wound care.
  • Community experience is welcome but not essential.

Job description

We're recruiting a Community Nurse to support patients at home following discharge from Southampton General Hospital — helping them recover safely, comfortably, and with continuity of care. With a salary up to £39,000 and the option of either a company car or car allowance of £4877, this is an exciting opportunity for a Community Nurse looking for autonomy, clinical variety, and genuine impact in their work.

What you'll be doing
  • Delivering high-quality nursing care in patients' own homes.
  • Supporting early hospital discharge and preventing avoidable readmissions.
  • Building meaningful clinical relationships with patients and MDT partners.
  • Completing IV therapy administration, wound care, venepuncture, and general nursing duties.
  • Working a mix of early and late shifts across a 7-day rota.
