12 Month Secondment/Fixed Term contract

Are you a registered nurse or about to qualify? Do you want an exciting and interesting job with great career potential? Do you aspire to make a real positive contribution to nursing in the community and working within a community nursing team?

The community nursing team across Peterborough are currently offering opportunities for full-time and part-time hours working within CPFT. We provide a service 7 days a week, working closely with other community services and PCN’s to provide high-standard holistic care to the population of Peterborough.

You will have the opportunity to develop yourself, with extensive learning and development opportunities. As a community staff nurse, you will be working as an autonomous practitioner within the multi-disciplinary team and community nursing team. You will provide a high standard of nursing care and interventions within the patient’s own home, with support from the wider team.

The patient will be at the centre of care being provided, ensuring patient and carer participation in decision making. You will be accountable for assessing, interpreting, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment to patients within professional guidelines. Patient needs will be identified through holistic nursing.

You will have the opportunity to provide support and education to peers, new staff, and students.
