Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner (RMN/ Social Worker) to join the Community Mental Health Team in Chorley, Lancashire on a contract basis.

The successful applicant will be dynamic, forward‑thinking and passionate about working with service users who have acute mental health concerns, providing a recovery‑focused approach.

Contract Details
  • Duration: 3–6 month contract with potential extension opportunities.
  • Hours: Full time, 9 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Pay rate: £24.00 – £25.00 per hour (depending on experience).
Responsibilities
  • In‑depth knowledge of mental health problems.
  • Knowledge of a variety of personality presentations.
  • In‑depth knowledge of issues that impact people with mental health problems.
  • Knowledge of medication prescribed for management of mental health issues.
Qualifications
  • Qualified with the NMC to be considered for the position.
