We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse to join our Older Adult Team within Caithness.

Your role will be assisting in managing the clinical care of patients with mental ill health as delegated by Senior Practitioners (CPN) with adults over the age of 65 or of any age if a memory concern. It will involve the assessment; care planning, implementation and evaluation of the care plan, in partnership with the client, family and carers.

The role will involve medication monitoring, liaising with psychiatrists, Primary Care and with other Social Care services, and referring on to other services as appropriate. You will be an active member of an MDT. You will also be supervising students and Support Workers on occasion.

Applicants must be registered with the NMC and work within the code of conduct at all times.

A driving licence is essential and a pool car may be available, however, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, if required.

This is a permanent full-time post of 37 hours working as per service requirements.
