A children's hospice is seeking a Community Fundraiser in Loughborough. The role involves building relationships and coordinating fundraising activities in the Derbyshire area. Candidates should have experience in fundraising or customer-facing roles, effective communication skills, and a valid UK driving licence. This position offers a hybrid working model after six months and various employee benefits including healthcare and pension schemes.

As our service continues to grow, we're looking for a passionate and people-focused Community Fundraiser to join our friendly, driven and dynamic Income Generation & Marketing Team and help us reach even more families. Location: You will be based at the Hospice in Loughborough full time for the first six months, moving to a hybrid contract thereafter. There is a requirement to travel around the East Midlands mainly covering Derbyshire and Northwest Leicestershire (Coalville, Ashby) for events, meetings and community engagement. Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 9:00am‑5:00pm, with occasional evening and weekend work to support events and fundraising activities.
Rainbows Childrens Hospice provides specialist palliative care and end‑of‑life support to over 750 babies, children, and young people living with life‑limiting conditions and terminal illnesses, as well as approximately 3,000 people including families, siblings and carers across the East Midlands. We are here to brighten short lives and support families wherever they are.
As Community Fundraiser you will be responsible for delivering relationship fundraising activity within Derbyshire. This includes building and managing relationships with:

A fundraising, customer‑facing sales or marketing role. Building relationships with individuals from all walks of life. Delivering presentations or speaking confidently to groups.
