Community, Events & Digital Marketing Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: NEURODIVERSITY SPARKThe Community, Events & Digital Marketing Assistant will support Spark’s member activities, meet‑ups, online community, peer‑support group administration, and public‑facing communications. The role combines event coordination, membership administration, digital content tasks, and community‑focused marketing. The post works alongside the Community Lead and Director of Sales to help deliver inclusive community experiences and promote Spark’s programmes across digital channels.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate in‑person and online meet‑ups and member activities.
  • Prepare event run‑sheets, resources, and accessibility checks.
  • Manage registrations, attendance records, and follow‑up summaries.
  • Support peer‑support group administration (materials, attendance, documentation).
  • Update membership CRM records (tags, groups, notes).
  • Assist with logistics for events and activities.
  • Prepare materials and simple promotional content.
  • Support external venue coordination.
  • Record attendance and compile evaluation summaries.
  • Produce simple Canva graphics for activities, workshops and updates.
  • Upload event listings to the website and membership platform.
  • Draft short social media posts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Update the events calendar and member announcements.
  • Assist with basic analytics (engagement, attendance trends).
  • Support PR tasks such as collecting content or preparing briefs.
  • Help manage online community groups.
  • Share approved updates and ensure engagement guidelines.
  • Assist with scheduling monthly membership activity posts.
