A leading healthcare trust in the UK is seeking qualified paediatric nurses for their Children's Community Nursing Service. In this role, you will support the transition of young patients from hospital to home, manage a clinical caseload, and collaborate with families as well as multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should have at least 2 years of post-graduate general paediatric experience and be a car owner. Queen Mary's Hospital for Children is based at the St Helier site. Children are seen in the dedicated Paediatric A&E which sits alongside the adult ED; Outpatient clinics, Ward and assessment unit. An exciting opportunity has arisen for two B6 1WTE permanent posts in the Children's Community Nursing Service, based at Queen Mary's Hospital, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. We are looking for highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Children's Nurses, passionate about providing high quality care to babies, children and young people in the community setting.
Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. In addition, we provide more specialist services, in particular renal and neonatal intensive care, to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire. We serve an area that is rich in diversity, with a mix of urban and rural areas, and differing levels of quality of life. We cover some of the most prosperous postcodes in the country, as well as some poorer areas. Together with our colleagues at NHS Surrey and NHS Sutton and Merton, we work to make sure that we deliver the best possible care to the communities we serve.
