Although it is helpful, prior expertise in care is not required. Candidates that share our core principles are given preference. The appropriate applicants will receive thorough training, guaranteeing that they gain the abilities and proficiencies required to give our service consumers with the best possible care.

Please be aware that the successful completion of required training, two positive references, and an enhanced DBS check are requirements for this employment.

Candidates must own a car and possess a valid UK driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Helping with every facet of personal care, such as grooming, dental care, showering, strip washing, bathing, etc.
• Helping with all toileting and continence needs, such as skin integrity care and changing pads.
• Making food, beverages, and snacks and serving them at the right times.
• Helping with feeding and making sure they get enough food and liquids.
• Helping with medicine (once competency is assessed)
• Helping with shopping and planning.
• Finishing simple household tasks like dishwashing and vacuuming.
• Facilitating visits to other medical professionals, such as the dentist, doctor, or hospital.
• Listening to and conversing with service users to provide emotional support.
• Companionship and engaging in enjoyable activities, such as playing card games and watching films
• Travelling and vacationing together
• Helping the service user with their dogs’ welfare.
