A leading law firm is seeking a Community Care & Welfare Solicitor / Legal Executive in Reading with a passion for providing legal solutions for vulnerable individuals. This role involves managing a diverse caseload and mentoring junior colleagues within a highly respected team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Community Care and/or Court of Protection matters, excelling in advocacy and client care. Reporting directly to the Partner and Head of Team, you will manage a complex caseload of privately fee‑paying matters and play a key role in the supervision and development of junior fee earners.
The team is ranked in Chambers and Legal 500 and is a founding member of the Professional Deputies Forum, with a national reputation for delivering bespoke legal solutions for vulnerable children and adults.
Depending on experience, there is also scope to undertake Special Educational Needs (SEN) work.
The team works collaboratively with the firm’s highly regarded Special Educational Needs practice, providing an all‑age service that integrates statutory funding, welfare advice and Court of Protection expertise.
