Qualifications

  • Fully registered with GMC, with a Licence to Practise.
  • Experience managing a range of mental disorders in children.
  • Able to work in and lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop care plans for complex needs of patients.
  • Act as an autonomous, registered practitioner accountable for own actions.
  • Ensure practice is supported by research and evidence-based practice.

Skills

Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Ability to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty
Experience in managing patients from different cultural backgrounds

Education

MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
Fully registered with the GMC with a Licence to Practise
On the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of completing CCT in psychiatry
