The University of Reading is a diverse, inclusive, and supportive community of students, staff and alumni. The Student Communications Co-ordinator role provides a vital function in our busy communications team based in Reading at the heart of our White Knights campus.
The Communications Co-ordinator supports the Student Communications team in our objective to deliver high quality and effective communications to the entire student community throughout their journey from point of enrolment through to graduation.
The Co-ordinator will share our passion for inclusivity and accessibility, and support our values in pursuit of excellence. Managing digital communications and working with the team to support our Student Content Creators to create engaging content representing the student voice in our communications.
The successful candidate will bring prior experience or a passion in communications. Be confident to create clear, engaging content across a range of digital platforms, and demonstrate an organised and proactive, approach to managing multiple projects and working collaboratively with partners.
Strong written communication skills are essential, alongside a creative approach to storytelling and a willingness to seek out and use feedback, data, and insights to improve content and engagement. We are also looking for someone keen to work with students inspiring motivation and encouraging a positive student experience in a fastpaced higher education environment.
