About the Company

Our established client is a well-known water treatment/water hygiene company that provides water treatment, pre‑commissioning, equipment and installation services to clients throughout the UK. They are now seeking an experienced and multi‑skilled Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Newcastle upon Tyne area. They will consider applications from South Shields, Sunderland, Durham, Chester‑Le‑Street and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications
  • A good working knowledge of the BSRIA guidelines would be desirable.
  • Considerable experience in balancing air and water systems.
  • Ability to analyse schematic drawings and survey reports in order to commission system correctly.
  • Must come from a good water treatment, technical, chemical and maintenance background.
  • Efficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Well versed with the water treatment industry.
  • Experience working in a water treatment commissioning role within the water treatment industry essential.
Responsibilities
  • Commissioning air and water systems.
  • Calibrating equipment to accurately balance water systems.
  • Adhering with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Carrying out service work strictly and in accordance with the client’s specification.
  • Conducting training of staff as when required.
  • Inspecting project installations as and when required.
  • Producing reports and preparing quotations.
  • Undertaking some water treatment duties to suit business requirements.
  • Liaising with clients on a regular basis – building and maintaining a good rapport.
