Job Overview
  • Supporting the kitchen team in basic food preparation
  • Supporting the kitchen team in their cleaning routine to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Managing receipt of deliveries and efficient storage, compliant with food hygiene regulations
  • Preparation for breakfast service
  • Managing the breakfast service operation
  • Supporting Front of House and managing the food counters during lunch service
  • Supporting Front of House service operations by replenishing service stations
  • Ensuring that any concerns you observe, or are raised with you in your role, are shared with the Safeguarding Team through appropriate channels
Knowledge
  • Experience of food handling and usage of kitchen equipment
  • Previous exposure and responsibility to Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards
People Skills
  • A self-starter with a high level of initiative and proactivity
  • Great communication skills with an ability to motivate others
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Quick learner and able to follow instructions
