Our client, a prominent franchised dealership, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their expanding Nottingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV technicians or confident Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) technicians wishing to develop their skills, with comprehensive brand-specific and HGV training provided. Duties

Conduct diagnostics, safety inspections, and vehicle modifications

Complete job cards and service documentation accurately and efficiently

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workshop

Engage professionally with customers and stakeholders

Maintain workshop safety standards and uphold quality control procedures

Specification

Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred (Light or Heavy vehicle considered)

Proven experience working on commercial vehicles, including HGVs and / or LCVs

Strong mechanical and electrical competencies

Proficiency in diagnostics and familiarity with workshop systems

Safety-conscious with a reliable and team-oriented approach

Good organisational skills and attention to detail
