Benchmark Designs Limited, a specialist design-and-build studio, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its dynamic team. With a reputation for delivering high-quality fit-outs for stadiums, racecourses, universities, and corporate spaces, this is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming some of the UK's most well-known hospitality and food & beverage venues. You'll be working alongside a team of dedicated designers and project managers, overseeing full project lifecycles from concept to completion.

This is a field-based role with nationwide travel, combining time on-site with coordination alongside our design studio. Benchmark Designs offers a flexible, entrepreneurial environment where innovation and quality go hand in hand with a supportive and close-knit team culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple interior fit-out projects concurrently, from 2-week installs to long-term developments.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent and professional communication.
  • Coordinate with internal design teams, external architects, and subcontractors to drive seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor costs, programmes, and compliance to ensure timely, high-quality completion.
  • Attend site regularly to oversee build progress and uphold safety and CDM standards.
  • Deliver projects across hospitality, leisure, and education sectors in collaboration with Compass Group and other major partners.
Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrable project management experience within fit-out, design & build, or construction.
  • Background in hospitality, F&B, or fast-paced commercial interiors is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute with strong budget and programme management capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and stay overnight as required.
  • Familiarity with M&E coordination and modern construction technologies.
