AWE have an exciting opportunity for Commercial Performance Reporting Manager who has a passion for presenting data it in a way that is meaningful, enabling the business to make key decisions on major infrastructure / construction projects.

Commercial management is central to effective decision making and thereafter successful delivery of any infrastructure project. The role of the Commercial Performance Reporting Manager is to provide the stewardship at the heart of the investment, and ultimately the benefit realisation processes. Therefore, experience in a reporting environment, knowledge of Power BI and a background in a Commercial, Supply Chain or Procurement are all beneficial.

Ideally you will have at least 4 years' experience with a specialism in report development and insight. You will understand the key business strategies, risks, opportunities and economic factors to develop a strategy of reporting that will underpin our decision making. You will monitor and drive supplier performance, assist with the development of supplier value including planning and preparation of external management review meetings, and drive operational efficiency in alignment with the Supply Chain Processes and Strategies.

Working at a similar level within a comparable organisation or industry, you will ideally:

  • Development of Reporting Dashboards and preparation of reporting workflow and workflow documentation including coordination of any technical change affecting the reporting requirements.

  • Support to the development and implementation of the Commercial Reporting Framework, the various boards, including the definition and maintenance of implemented data definitions and delivery of data.

  • Support in preparation of first reporting and develop controls to identify data quality issues (missing data, wrong data, inconsistent data etc).

  • Support in governance processes to the governance team and support improving reporting processes.

  • Ensuring timely, complete and efficient implementation of changes to reporting and support to internal and external auditors.

  • Working within a Procurement Function, with focus on delivering change programmes.

Experience and Skills required:

  • Experience in a regulatory advisory or reporting role within a financial, government institutions or consultancy firm.

  • Be able to understand complex concepts of new regulatory requirements, challenge them and support communication to the Commercial Team.

  • Analytical skills of regulatory driven changes and development of solutions and Data Analytics.

Package: from £46,000 to £60,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)
