A leading public sector firm is seeking a Commercial Procurement Manager to oversee procurement activities in the corporate services category. The role offers a hybrid working model, based in Manchester, requiring 2-3 days in the office. The ideal candidate should have strong procurement knowledge, stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to build supplier relationships. I am currently recruiting for a highly commercial and rewarding public sector business who are looking for a commercial procurement manager.
The Commercial team provides specialist procurement and contract management advice across the business, ensuring that all compliance with procurement regulations, are met.
You will be responsible for leading on a range of procurement activities across the business in the corporate and professional services category. This includes but is not limited to vehicle hire, travel and accommodation, venue hire, legal services, HR services, research services, print/postal services, language services, office supplies, office furniture, health screening/support services.
The role may also be required to provide support to the IS and digital category team and may assume line manager responsibility.
Based in Manchester 2 or 3 days in the office and the rest from home
