Commercial Manager-Poole -up to GBP65,000

A well-established construction business based in Poole is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join its team. The role is responsible for the commercial and financial management of construction projects, ensuring profit targets are achieved in line with forecasts while supporting the successful delivery of contracts. Regular travel to London is required as part of this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial management of allocated projects
  • Budgeting, cost control, and monthly financial reporting
  • Applications for payment and final accounts
  • Valuation and agreement of variations
  • Subcontractor and supplier account management
  • Supporting project teams to achieve project KPIs
  • Assisting with subcontract purchase orders and estimating reviews
  • Building strong internal and external relationships
Key Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a Commercial Manager or similar role
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Advanced Excel and strong numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Construction industry experience essential
  • NEC or steelwork experience advantageous
Hours & Benefits:
