Qualifications

• Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent required.
• Extensive experience within a commercial role in Civil Engineering/Construction.
• Strong grasp of Standard Forms of Contract like NEC.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of the project and liaise with stakeholders.
• Conduct monthly cost and value reconciliation reviews.
• Manage project contractual changes including claims and variations.
• Oversee the project procurement for commercial advantage.
• Maximize cash flow, including WIP control and improvement plans.
• Ensure consistent understanding of contractor costs each week.

Skills

Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent

Commercially astute with substantial experience

Expert knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract

Understanding of programming techniques and project controls
