Commercial Manager

Location: Dublin 15
Salary: Up to €120,000 (DOE)
Working Pattern: 4–5 days per week in the office

A leading specialist contractor delivering high-value mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Dublin 15.

This role would suit an established Commercial Manager or a Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a broader commercial leadership position.

The Role

As Commercial Manager, you will take full commercial responsibility for M&E projects from pre-contract through to final account, ensuring strong financial performance, robust cost control, and effective risk management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Commercial oversight of mechanical and electrical projects
  • Cost management, forecasting, and reporting
  • Contract administration and change control
  • Management and development of QS/commercial teams
  • Liaising closely with project managers, engineers, and senior leadership
  • Supporting procurement and subcontractor negotiations
  • Ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual obligations
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Third level Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills dealing with design team / client / meetings etc.
  • Good attention to detail, with an analytical approach and ability to work using your own initiative.
