Assistant Commercial Manager / Commercial Manager

Location: East of England / site-based 2–3 days per week

Salary: £45,000 – £70,000 depending on experience

We’re recruiting Commercial Managers (5+ years’ experience) to support a civils and enabling works programme in the East of England. These are permanent roles, working as part of a consultancy team overseeing the commercial aspects of multiple workstreams.

You’ll be responsible for administering NEC3 contracts, assessing payments, managing change, and supporting financial forecasting and reporting. The role requires regular coordination with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure commercial processes are followed and risks are managed.

Key requirements
  • Experience delivering NEC3 contracts, ideally Options C and E
  • Capable of managing contract administration, early warnings, compensation events, and payment processes
  • Able to contribute to cost reporting, forecasting and commercial risk management
  • Background in infrastructure, civils, or enabling works preferred; sector experience is flexible
  • Able to attend site 2–3 days per week
