A leading offshore law firm is seeking an Associate in the United Kingdom to work on high-value cross-border disputes. This role offers significant client contact, early responsibility, and strong opportunities for career progression. Ideal for ambitious lawyers with a background in commercial litigation or related fields. Competitive salary range is between £80k-£95k with benefits including a relocation package and bonus scheme.
This leading offshore practice advises an impressive international client base on the Jersey law aspects of high-value cross-border disputes. It is looking for an Associate who is keen to get involved in a broad range of contentious work spanning mainstream commercial/contractual disputes, specialist banking and financial services disputes, insolvency, fraud, and asset tracing.
You will enjoy plenty of client contact and opportunities to take on responsibility from the outset, making this an ideal role for an ambitious, career-minded lawyer who is keen to fast-track their development. Opportunities for progression are good, and experience gained here will be respected across the onshore and offshore markets.
For a city-based lawyer who thrives on big-ticket work but craves an escape from the rat race, few places compete with the Channel Islands, home to two of the world’s premier offshore financial centres. Jersey and Guernsey have strong and highly competitive legal sectors, housing teams that number many alumni of the leading London or international outfits amongst their ranks. They do complex blue‑chip work, in a nice environment without the trappings of a big law firm culture. Work‑life balance tends to be good, leaving plenty of time to enjoy what is an enviable coastal lifestyle and London is only an hour away making it easy to get that city fix when (or if) you need it.
Our team has 25 years’ experience of helping lawyers to make international and offshore moves. If you would like to find out more about this role or chat about an overseas move in general, please get in touch.
