Description

• Support procurement and contracting processes, including drafting and reviewing third-party contracts.
• Assist with contractual documentation involving government agreements and member organisations.
• Provide legal support for risk mitigation projects and special initiatives.
• Research and advise on legal matters affecting the organisation (competition, public law, IP, regulatory, etc.).
• Identify and manage legal risks and coordinate financial crime prevention activities.
• Attend internal/external meetings and deputise for the General Counsel when required.

Profile

Essential:

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• Experience in a leading law firm, commercial insurer/reinsurer, or government department.
• Strong understanding of contract law
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships internally and externally.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of insurance legal and regulatory landscape.
