Job description

Our clients are seeking a dedicated and qualified Commercial Gas Service Engineer to deliver high-quality servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems across the Midlands. The successful candidate will be the point of contact for clients on site, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance, servicing, and fault diagnosis on commercial gas systems, including boilers, burners, pipework, and related equipment.
  • Conduct commissioning, installation, and upgrades of commercial gas heating systems as needed.
  • Carry out gas safety checks, issue Gas Safety (CP12) certificates in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety protocols, including safe systems of work and risk assessments (RAMS).
  • Maintain excellent client relations by ensuring professionalism and reliability throughout site interactions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Valid Gas Safe Register accreditation with appropriate ACS qualifications for commercial gas installations.
  • Proven experience in servicing, fault-finding, and repairing commercial gas systems.
  • A valid UK full driving licence for travel across Midland's client sites.
  • Strong technical aptitude, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and customer service orientation.
